Capturing "EXIF" Data from HDV
Sorry if this is a silly question.
When one shoots video on HDV (or even DV) it records the camera data along with the video. When you playback the video on the camcorder, you can see this data which is like the EXIF data in digital cameras. It shows, the aperture, the shutter speed, the gain, etc. My question is when the footage is captured by a computer is this data lost or still somehow embedding in the .m2t files? Thanks. |

I stumbled upon a little app that would do this but only for DV. It was great! But as i said... unfortunately only for DV. :( I emailed the author to show my interest in a version for HDV files so if someone else is interested the utility is at : http://www.dvmp.co.uk/
Cheers.
