FS C recording quality question.
Is recording to the FS C in quicktime 24p going give you a better capture than using an tape to capture. Is there more color information using the quicktime 24p wrapper? It's essentially the quicktime HDV codec that gets used when ingesting you 24p footage into FCP is it not? In other words which is better.
Recording to tape and ingesting via HDV codec. or Recording to FS C using quicktime 24p? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |

exactly the same
There is no difference in the quality its still HDV . I believe 4:20
The only good thing is instant access of the footage and no capturing from tape . Doug Tessler |
