How do you store your Firestore?
Just wondering what kind of cases everyone uses or can recommend one for the Firestore FS-4.

I would check both Petrol and KATA for FS storage.
http://www.petrolbags.com/new_petrol_site/ http://www.kata-bags.com I personally know of some people who have bought the Petrol PWRB-2, which is designed for wireless mics, but will fit FS units quite well. Hope that helps, Matt |

Case for Firestore, Citidisk, microphones, etc.
Target sells a pencil case for around $7 that's perfect for storing the Firestore, Citidisk, wireless mikes, I-Rivers, mini-disc recorders, or anything else small and delicate. It's a felt-lined hard case made of sturdy reinforced aluminum and comes in black or silver. They also come with a locking clasp and you can stack these cases on top of each other. The company that makes them for Target is Suncast. Inside dimensions are 5" x 8" x 2." I bought a bunch of them and used a label machine to label the contents of each one. They're great and a whole lot cheaper than cases you'd buy from camera stores. I didn't see them offered on Target's website so I'd recommend calling their stores to see if they have any in stock. I found mine in their stationery/office supplies section and the Target item # on my receipt was 081070259 (silver color).

I carry mine in a Nova camera bag (the biggest size) along with all my cables, mics, etc. I make it a habit to "crack" the battery open so if the power on is accidentialy bumped it won;t turn on and run down the battery.
