M2T to HDV QT update available?

I have a FS-4 HD which allows capture of HDV footage but as M2T files- is there an upgrade or firmware change available that will allow the FS-4 to write the M2T's as native Quicktime HDV?

According to FE, the $39 upgrade to HD QT is for the FS4HD Pro only. It would be nice if it worked on the non-Pro model.

Hmm, didn't realize that the non-pro folks couldn't get it. Bummer.

Yeah I called FE and they said only "Pro" model as it uses different firmware- although I bet the non-Pro models can do it but they wont allow it because of pricing structure.

If you buy the QTHDV install, do you still retain the option of recording m2t files?
