DVX100B w/ FS-4 ?
Hey guys- are there any issues with using the FS-4 with the DVX100B?
I want a totally tape-less solution and want to confirm this is the most cost-effective way of doing so? I'm looking for anyone who uses a FS-4 with a DVX....any comments? Also is every mode supported with the FS-4 when using the various advanced modes the 100B is capable of? Thanks guys. |

Make sure you use the new 1.1 version of firmware which has improved DV 24p capability. It is possible to record in both 24p AVI Type 2 (for Premiere) or 24p QuickTime (for FCP). Set the camera to advanced 24p mode. Either FS-4 or FS-4Pro will work.
