Firestore and Firewire web cams
Matt....
Is it possible for the FS100 to record a signal from a Firewire web cam?

It's doubtful. First off, I don't think the Firestore puts out power on the firewire connector. Even if it did though, most webcams (like the iSight) don't output DV video. They're IIDC devices, and use a different protocol that the Firestore wouldn't know about.

IIDC Tablet PC recorder
Any ideas what might work. Perhaps a Linux-based IIDC recording software on a tablet PC that has 1394a (Firewire 800).
Hmm. Any ideas if a tablet does have Firewire 800 ?? |
