I had problems for my use. They may have been solved by now.
I must admit reading your previous post I was confused about your final use. I can understand timecode accuracy from a field unit is critical on ingest, but I'm not sure I understand why you need to dub to the unit. I can see you might want to back up the firestore to tape: did dubbing timecode that work for you? PS - you probably have a very valid reason for going the other way, I'm just too dense today to get it!
PS I take it you can clone from one DSR-45 to another with a firewire stream with broken code with no problem? I always thought timecode over firewire was a bit flaky for frame accurate use?
