Split audio
I use an MR-HD100 docked to a JVC GY-HD200. I copy and paste the video files into FCP 7. The two audio channels end up being linked, so I can't adjust audio levels independently. Normally this isn't an issue since I just drop the channel I want onto my timeline, but sometimes (e.g. a two-mic interview), I would like to have complete control over the levels.
Is there a better way to ingest the video so I have separate and individually adjustable left and right audio channels? Thanks. |

Re: Split audio
Select your audio track and push Option-L. This toggles audio linking.

There's no way to ingest the audio split?
