DR-HD 100 won't charge at DVinfo.net

My DR-HD100 won't charge. I've had it for just over a year and the charging light doesn't come on when the power supply is attached. I've tried switching wall outlets but to no avail. THe unit will connect to the PC and recorded fine when I used it today on a shoot. This happened once before that I can recall but it would eventually charge.
I've contacted cust. support at Focus but haven't heard anything yet. Just looking for a lead on something else to try and/or what to do about a replacement charger or battery...assuming that's the issue here.

It seems one of two ferrite on the main-board nearly of DC-connector should be re-soldered.
