The DR-DV5000 is simply a rebranded FS-3. Operational differences? Compatibility issues? I wonder. Sure seems like there wouldn't be any at all. Matt?

Hello,
DR-DV5000 was designed to be used with the JVC GY-DV5000, -5001 and -5100 series camcorders. It has some unique features specifically for this camcorder including camcorder viewfinder status, different control modes and cable-less operation. It can be used with any DV device however. Hope that helps, Matt |
