B&H firestore 4
im seeing at B&H that they have 2 fs-4 40 gb one for $749 and the other for $929 then they have an 40 gb one for $1049 and a 80 gb for $1399 - my question is refering to the 2 40 gb 749-929
what is the difference i dont think the the 2 for 749 and 929 are pro since they show the 40 gb pro for 1049 - |

Hi Ronnie,
This was a mistake on B&H's site which they have now fixed. The FS-4 40GB with the free additional battery is $749 from B&H. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Matt |

Whoops. I purposely went to the videoguys website and bought it. I'm normally a huge B&H Photo fan, but when I sent them an e-mail asking why the huge discrepancy, I got the automated/formula e-mail asking for my Purchase Order number.
Oh well, their loss I suppose. I'm glad they did catch it though. |

Well, you're still true to DV Info Net, John, because like B&H, Video Guys (Electronic Mailbox) is also one of our sponsors here.

It seems B&H is out of stock on this item.
I'm seriously considering this system over a DV deck for use with my PD170, mainly for the extended record time and the fact I can bypass capture via tape. Video Guys has it for the same price ($749) but they don't show whether or not they have it in stock on their web site.

Oh, thanks. That would explain why it's not in stock! LOL
So, when is this item going to be available, Matt?

supposedly it is to be released late next week - at least that's what a lady at focus enhancements told me 2day - but we know how that goes - if no release soon [within 2 wks] i will consider other options such as the nnovia.
