1.3 update for DR DV 5000 at DVinfo.net

Last week I installed the new update to work with Liquid Edition. But I still have some problems. It seems that the disk disconnects from time to time while filming (during pause) so I have to restart the camera. It seems as well that the disk takes more time to be operative. And finally I still didn't understand the workflow when I record something, make Pinnacle-file-organization and have to go on filming. Because connecting again my cam to the laptop the file is the same a before, just added news takes. But that means that I have to copy again all to get the new takes as well. It would be great to open a new folder but sorry, I didn't understand the manual.

BTW: Do I have to install 1.2 as well? Because I came from 1.1 to 1.3 directly.

Hi Markus,
Something does not sound right on your FireStore unit. It should not be "disconnecting" as you describe. Is it possible that your disk drive is getting fragmented? Just a thought.

You should be able to import clips directly to Pinnacle Liquid Edition without effort. I suggest you contact the Focus support team at support@focusinfo.com or call +1 408-370-9963.

Version 1.2 is available from the focus support site if you need it.
