If my cradle is permentaly mounted on my camera and I don't have acess to that for transfer purposes and I do not have a six pin to six pin Fire wire cable that supplies the power, Is there a way to power the drives and does Focus sell that? It didn't come with the units I purchased. Sorry about the run on sentance. Please let me know. Thanks.....

Hi Steve,
Focus does make an AC adapter for the FSHDD-1 FireWire drive... model #PWRS-0034-01. This is available from Focus dealers and also from the Focus webstore. Hope that helps. Matt McEwen |

Matt,
Thanks for the reply. I currently have the Endura battery system for my Sony DSR 570, Do the FS3 have a mounting bracket for the Endura battery system? I liked the Endura better that the Anton Bauer system. Thanks sc

Steve,
Yes, you would order the FS-3 V-Mount which will work with the IDX Endura series or Sony BPL batteries. Matt |
