Timecode match?
If I record to both the tape on a Panasonic AJ-610 DVCPro camera as well as the FS-3, will the latest version of the FS-3 have matching timecode as the tape?
Actually the camera will be the newer Panasonic AJ-615 which will have firewire. This camera was at NAB, but I haven't seen one since. John Smyrna, Tennessee |

Hi John,
Yes, you just set FS-3 to EXT TC mode and the timecode that is recorded to tape is also recorded to the file on disk. TC is embedded in the DV stream over FireWire. I'd also saw the AJ-615 announcement at NAB...looks like a good cam! I'd be interested to hear how you go with this setup. Matt McEwen |
