Here's a brief list of camcorder types that are compatible with the FireStore™ FS-3 portable hard disk recorder:

All Sony DSR series full-size shoulder-mount DVCam camcorders
All Ikegami full-size shoulder-mount DVCam camcorders
All Panasonic full-size shoulder-mount DV camcorders

Hi Chris, You list down RT2000/RT2500, is RTX100 Xtreme Pro not compatible? I wonder why because it's not in your list.

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply, I have been on the road.

Ironically, Matrox RTX.100 with Premiere Pro is in our lab right now undergoing official qualification with FireStore. We should have the result shortly. That being said, I have heard of a number of users that have successfully used FireStore files with RTX.100 systems. It was even mentioned in a DV magazine review of FS-1 in the December 2002 issue.

I'll keep you posted and sorry for the late reply.
