DVC 30 works tapeless with FSC at DVinfo.net

Contrary to some of my prior posts I find that the Focus Enhancements FSC I use with my Canon XH-A1 does in fact work "TAPELESS" with other camera's.

I own a DVC30 and tried the EXT function setting under DV CONTROL....OTHER FUNCTIONS and much to my surprise there was no tape in the camera .....and it quite happily recorded to the FSC.

Seems to me the manual said TAPELESS would only work with the A1.

Also I might add that I changed the SATA hard drive from the 60 Gig it had in it to a Samsung 120 Gig hard drive and now have over 8 hrs of recording to the FSC!

Guy, Thanks for the Info. I have the 60GB FSC , but I will wait to upgrade the drive after the warrenty expires
