Wow! Thanks David! I knew there had to be somebody out there who does this!

That's a fantastic site - a real inspiration! Also that Dutch clip was great - from the bank of a river it seems - slap bang between water and a road - I guess that kind of daring qualifies as extreme KAP!

Thanks again - that is a brilliant resource and I shall investigate it thoroughly!

If you are still interested in balloon mounts, check out the book - Killer Camera Rigs That You Can Build by Dan Selakovich published by Angel Dog Books in California.

In it he has a step by step guide to building your own balloon rig and walks you through some dos and don'ts regarding the rig. Unfortunately, I live in western kansas and the wind never stops blowing, so I doubt I'll ever get the chance to use one of these babies.
