I'd love to see some of this footage, or at least frame grabs.

The shooter is Jody Eldred, who is a DV Info Net member.

Yes, Jody has been doing this stuff for quite a few years now.
I'm looking forward to seeing this footage!

Man,
I guess this might conclude the wobble thoughts, LOL. I can't believe this thing withstood 10G ! Unreal......

Jody does a real good job at "laying it out on the table". The EX1 will cut with the bigger cams and is going to make an excellent "B" cam. I am really itching to see this air show footage in HD. Man, I love those old planes.

Jody, if you're around, when can we expect to see the footage?

The EX seems OK outside the aircraft too!

http://forum.planetalk.net/viewtopic.php?t=5287.

I would have expected the camera to take 10G quite happily as there's no tape to slip off the head when pulling "G" We use the Sanyo HD2 for our in cockpits and that has no problem with "G" too.

The shots are amazing. In the Patty's demo, what kind of lense was being used? There is a lot of nonlinear distorsion visivible...

They slipped a wide angle adapter on the stock lens. The camera was literally inches behind Patty's head.

Watching her work the aircraft from inside is an amazing POV of what they go through to make it look easy. I have been a passenger in a Pitts S2-A doing aerobatics, but nothing that intense (10 G's is a lot if you haven't built up a tolerance).
