Final Cut Express HD - Web export
Hi,
We've finally upgraded from the old Media100 to Final Cut Express HD at my school (Danish School of Journalism). It's real nice and all, but now I just need to find out how to make a proper export for webstreaming? I've been googling for some tutorials, but can't find any proper ones. So hopefully you guys can help :) Thanks! |

Some people use the word webstreaming to mean a video on the web that starts playing before it completes downloading to the player. Streaming really means that the web video is on a a special streaming server (not a normal web server) that works together with the player to ensure immediate startup and continuous "streaming" of the video from the server to the player. FCE and QuickTime Pro support creating both. It does you no good to create a streaming file and serve it from a regular HTTP web server.
Which definition do you mean? |
