Vimeo problems...
I've been trying to replace a video on vimeo plus for about a day now. I think I've replaced the video around 9 times. The files are almost identical but the one I'm trying to add on has some short text at the end. Anyways, every-time I replace it the original comes back up. Even after converting and everything. I dont want to have to delete the video on vimeo and start over entirely unless thats the last option.

They may think the file is the same so they are skipping it. Might have to actually delete and start fresh.

Also, don't forget that many copies or clones of the (old) video might be sitting on servers all over the world and it may take a bit of time for all these to syncronise...or whatever the correct process is called (This is not my area of expertise I might add). Some video files are cached onto geographically appropriate servers that Vimeo/YouTube etc. rent to ensure faster response times I believe....experts in this area feel free to enlighten us!
I seem to remember one time I DELETED a video file (on YouTubeHD actually, but it might work the same with Vimeo) and it was still viewable for a day or two afterwards... before it finally disappeared for good. As suggested, deleting and starting afresh would seem the simplest and best solution to try now.
