Premiere "Save for Web" Feature
Noticed some problems I was having when using this feature in Adobe Premiere 6.01
I have DV footage (video and audio) that I was attempting to convert to avi and mpg footage using the "Save for Web" feature and using the mpg cdrom or avi cdrom setting. Cleaner is brought up and the encoding process takes place. But for some reason my finished file does not have audio. any suggestions? I'm thinking it's a codec thing? maybe I don't have the proper audio codec? |

Check that you have 'export audio' checked in the export movie settings

If you find that you have checked the audio box as well.
You should try to export the video "by-reference" and then import it into Cleaner 5 as a seperate file. The "by reference feature"allows you to export the video without rendering the video out as one huge file. But it will collapse and mix down your audio into the by-refernece file. Are you using Cleaner 5 or 5.1 ? Discreet recently bought the Cleaner line of products from Media 100 and V5.1 has some bugs. Adam
