Markers in Video
Looking for help in how to accomplish the following.
1. Qty 20-30 45-60 minute videos with markers at various points. 2. Web page with the following. a. Top middle of page. Video player b. Right side of web page. Scrollable window with the list of 20-30 videos. c. Left Side Windows. Support photo's or graphics for playing Video. d. Under the Video window. Scrollable window with the different maker. or chapter listings (index) of the video that is playing at the time. I'm leaning towards H.264 played in a flash player for quality and compatibility. I assume programming is the same for h.264 it would be for flash video, but I'm not sure of this. I don't know how involved the scripting is for the jumping to markers via the scrollable window underneath the video window nor do I know if I can just have a "next" button to jump to the next marker in or under the player windows. I downloaded the flash CS3 30 day trial and am overwhelmed trying to learn that in a hurry. Before I commit, I'd be interested in others opinion. Bandwidth nor storage is an issue as each computer will have all the material on a local hard drive with plenty of storage and speed. Someday in the future, when everyone has ample bandwidth for HD playback, it will be available both via the web or on a local drive depending on circumstances. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or advice. |
