Which flash player to use?
I have a site, which I guess would be considered a commercial site since we sell stuff, so I don't feel right using a free flash player like JW FLV player. If I want to pay to have a real flash player, do I have to do this through Adobe and what is the easiest way to do this? I've been trying to navigate the Adobe website and seem to only find a $699 option to buy their software...I'm a bit confused about this whole thing...any help is appreciated. Basically I just want to show 30 seconds clips of DVDs we're selling, using flash. Thanks.

You do NOT have to licence the player through Adobe, the codec can be used for free. If you like JW, simply buy the commercial licence from the author for 20 Euros and it's yours to use on your commercial site.

Yeah, give Jeroen $30 (or whatever 20 euros is nowadays). You're fully licensed, and he gets a little more money to continue doing the great work he does. I did it!
