fcp freeze imac g5 won`t turn on
Hello everybody ,
Two days ago i was importing some footage from a mini dv tape using sony dsr-11 and ..fcp froze and a faded message pop up to my screen says : YOU NEED TO RESTART YOUR COMPUTER ..i did and i reopened fcp againg it works like another 15 minutes and the same message showed up again only this time after i shot the computer down it won`t turn on again i keep hearing the fan sound and the little rounded light on the power key but the system won`t start. any input would be appriciated. thanx . |

Turn off your computer, then turn it back on and hold down the apple, option, p and r keys, let it cycle for 5 chimes and then let go of the keys.
Your resetting thr p-ram. This may solve your problem. |

Thanx Mark for replying , i did and it works fine for a minutes and then it froze again and won`t be turnining on .

Could be a bad memory stick, or other hardware. I had a 24" iMac that would Kernel panic upon restart, or would run real super slow if it booted, bad memory. Took it to Apple and it was fixed.
