FCP deep-crashes when redering.
I struggle with a FCP timeline that constantly crashes when rendering.
Material is HDV 25F (XL-H1) Filters in use are 3way color corr. and Bleach from Fx Factory. I use ProRes422 as render codec. I tried to recapture a few clips I thought might be the problem, and got some errors. I have managed to render the hole four minutes of music video by rendering a few clips, saving, and then rendering a few more till the next freeze and so on. All looks great. Problem is it's impossible to export the piece. I tried export as quicktime, and export using compressor. Both deep-crashes the computer after 12% or so. I even tried screen recording using Snapz Pro but the resulting file was missing frames here and there, probably because of too heavy load. Anyone with a bright idea how to make a playable file out of this?

I doubt I can offer any viable input here, but just to ask:
Are you sure there is enough free disk space available on the drive to which you are rendering? -Jon
