Re-install FCP 5.1.4 after FCS 2?
In looking at an old project after upgrading to FCS 2 I saw differences that I wouldn't have to bother dealing with if I had a version of FCP 5.1.4 around.
Is it a problem to re-install? I thought of moving FCS 2 (esp FCP & Compressor) out of applications and installing fcp 5.1.4 and Compressor but worry about extension conflicts. Should I not worry? Please advise. |

Do you still need FCS2 installed?
If not try a handy little app called CleanApp (AppZapper is another one but costs a few bucks). It will uninstall everything including all dependencies. I would think that FCS1 would just overwrite the FCS2's files on install but I'm not positive on that. I've been thinking of doing the same lately because of the timeline audio bug. |

I'll check out that CleanApp, thanks!
What timeline audio bug, I hadn't heard of that? |
