for true HD video out on a MBP, the Matrox MXO is just about the only current solution other than the recently announced AJA IO HD or MOTU V3HD

I've been using Convergent-Design's HDConnectMI with a DVI-HDMI adapter.
I have the output connected to a JVC 17" CRT HD monitor via HD-SDI and the results are great. Their nanoConnect should also work the same way.

It looks like the HD-connect LE does firewire in and component out. Do you know anyone that has used this thing? |
