HITACHI Deskstar
HITACHI Deskstar 1TB drive anyone have any expereince with these drives with the Mac platform?

I've got the 250 Gig 7200 rpm 8mb buffer version and it works great for all my audio and video projects on macs. Otherworld Computing uses almost exclusively the Hitachie Deskstar and Seagate Barracuda in their firewire enclosures and I have purchased several.

I have 24 Hitachi Deskstars in this editing room of various sizes. From 250 to 500 GB. None have failed yet in the past two or three years they've been here. And some have been used a lot.
