Blackmagic Intensity pro and FCP

Hello all, Im thinking of buying the new Blackmagic Intensity pro card so I can capture in HDMI. Im using a Macpro 2.6 Quadcore with an 0 raid set up.
Im ok with hardware, but has anyone done this yet? Im using FCP 5.1.4 and shooting with an HVR-V1U.
If I install the card will FCP automatically see the card and offer an HDMI capture choice?
Im a little nervous to do it...but I really want to capture in HDMI.

Thanks

It is designed for the Mac PCIe machines. And yes, if you install the drivers for it, FCP will see it, and you can capture via HDMI from the camera.
