Blackmagic Intensity pro and FCP
Hello all, Im thinking of buying the new Blackmagic Intensity pro card so I can capture in HDMI. Im using a Macpro 2.6 Quadcore with an 0 raid set up.
Im ok with hardware, but has anyone done this yet? Im using FCP 5.1.4 and shooting with an HVR-V1U. If I install the card will FCP automatically see the card and offer an HDMI capture choice? Im a little nervous to do it...but I really want to capture in HDMI. Thanks |

It is designed for the Mac PCIe machines. And yes, if you install the drivers for it, FCP will see it, and you can capture via HDMI from the camera.
