200 gb internal hd for MacBook Pro, 2.33, 15.4"

My 120 gb drive is getting full and was looking for something more. Anyone recommend a 200 gb drive? Seems like a 160 will just fill up eventually too.

And what brands are good? Mine has a Fujitsu Sata, pricegrabber lists only Mobile-Stor.

Having the same issues - I cleared off the internal 120-gig to the bare minimum - installed FCPS-2 - I have a mere 15 gigs of space left...

I purchased;

http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Weste...ital/WD5000YS/

I use the Sonnet Fusion 400 four drive bay in the studio and can also connect to two of those drives if I need to work (or to transfer) Cloning is real fast.

Yes it is more to carry around but very flexible in the long term for storage. My plan is to upgrade to the next MBP this fall, and not go the larger HD internal modification route.

I like the 7200rpm in the 7K200 and the 250GB in the 5K250. The 5400rpm seems a bother but then that's what I got now no problems. Of course I haven't used Motion or installed FCS2 to check out Color yet.

I also worry about heat from the 7K200/7200rpm.

I read the article on the 7K200 with 7200rpm. Impressive! Any thoughts on whether it will provide a vastly superior performance when working with FCS2 to warrant getting it over the 5400rpm one?

best,
elmer
