Color Keying in FCP is not working!
Hey all,
I'm using FCP5.1.4 right now and for some reason, color keying / blue & green keying / chroma keying is not working. I am just trying to key out some color of a still image... not even motion footage. I've done this before without a hitch when I was on FCP 4.5. All of a sudden, it will not respond. More info: I was using MacOS 10.4.9 but thought this may be the issue and reverted to 10.4.8. Still no luck. Has anyone else encountered this issue? |

On the timeline, just make sure that the playhead is resting on the image your trying to correct.

The playhead is resting on the image in the timeline. I do feel it's more of a technical error, but can't figure out what. The effect is on, the tab is checked, all that.

I did that too. I did all the little things that I was supposed to do, that is why it is frustrating. So, I've been on the message boards seeing if anyone has encountered this and offer me their wisdom.
I appreciate your response nonetheless. |
