Closed Captioning
Does anyone have experience doing closed captioning on FCP and DVD Studio? Do these programs have this capability?
If not, who does this type of stuff? Can I take my file to a video reproduction place and have them perform the closed captioning onto video tape? Thanks in advance. |

If you mean closed captioning which is used by TV stations, no. For captioning a DVD, yes, DVDSP has that ability. Simple google search will turn up several vendors in the LA area which will take your video, add captioning and give you a new master on whatever format you desire.

I use a vendor in Baltimore, MD I send him a DVcam master, he sends the vid back captioned on DVcam, prices are very reasonable. He will also take mp4 vids uploaded and send you back the subtitle file. Lots of options.
Walter is at www.ccmaker.com tell him I sent ya! :-) |
