Best DVD to Quicktime Software (NOT PIRACY!)
I've got some press clips that a client has on DVD they need in a quicktime. Rather than patch into my DVD Player, of course, I'd like to get some softwaer that can rip it. I've used DVD Ripper for Mac http://www.mp4converter.net/dvd-ripper-mac.html in trial version, but was wondering if there's anything better out there before I buy. Is Toast good for this stuff? Thanks in advance.

I had a similar situation where a client presented me with a DVD of their earlier work and asked me to incorporate it into the new corporate video. I used MPEG Streamclip to convert the DVD files into Quicktime movies for editing in FCP and it worked great!
MPEG Streamclip is a free application and can be downloaded from this link: http://www.squared5.com/svideo/mpeg-streamclip-mac.html |
