720p/24p for FCP 5.1
How can I import JVC HD100's 24p into version 5.1?
What are the ways I could accomplish this? THANKS. |

Hi Lorenzo.
Just set the Easy Setup for HDV 720p24. Then do a regular Log and Capture. (I'm assuming that, when you say 5.1, you've got at least 5.1.2.) If you have too many problems capturing (hopefully it will all go smoothly) there are other workarounds for getting your footage captured and into FCP, such as HDVxDV or DVHSCap-MPEGSTREAMCLIP. If you do a simple search of this forum or the GY-HD100-250 forum you'll find plenty of threads giving the full procedures. And Tim Dashwood has also made a couple of comprehensive summary threads listing all known methods of ingesting and editing the footage using FCP. Good luck. |
