Rendering a simple logo is taking too long!
Hi,
I have a 30 minute timeline that requires a simple logo in the top right hand corner. When I add this icon, I am forced to render the entire timeline. This takes a lot of time & hard disk space. Is there an easier and faster way to do this without having to use multiple video tracks? Thanks! |

I think the PD-170 (and maybe some of the other Sony cameras) has a memory mix feature which allows you to overlay a JPEG on a memory stick on your video. But I think you may need to do this as you record as opposed to playing back the tape.
Other than that, I can't think of a way to overlay something without rendering but I might be missing something... |

I tried to do the same thing a while back and was disappointed with the render times. The only solution I could think of is to intermittently put your logo up, say 15 seconds every 2 minutes or so.
Hope this helps... Kevin |
