Need help matching these frame grabs
I am trying to get these two samples to look as simular as possible in terms of exposure. On sample 2, I changed iris setting on my FX1 to eliminate the over exposure at the hair and forehead. Any suggestions on how to match these in FCP5? Levels? Color?

Glenn,
Use the 3-way Color Corrector filter; there are built-in advanced features that will automatically match color, gamma and tempurature based on points you select in the frame. Pick up this book from the Apple Pro Training Series: "Advanced Color Correction and Effects in FCP 5", this will outline very clearly this process and literally everything else you'll need to know about color correction in FCP. |

Thanks Robert. That helps a lot. I did not even know that FCP had a matching filter.
