Help with P2 DVCPRO HD
I captures my footege from the HVX in 720 24p
and they look awesome. but when i drag them to the timeline in my final cut pro, they turn to the red line, wich means i need to render them, that means that it is compressing them... what can i do to work with my full quality???? Thanks for your help. |

rendering doesn't always mean compressing.
Can't help you in FCP problem though... |

Angel, look at "Sequence Settings" in Final Cut and make sure that everything (frame rate, aspect ratio, compressor) matches your original footage. For example, if you shoot 720pN/24p, your FCP sequence settings would be:
Frame size: 960 x 720 Pixel aspect ratio: HD (960 x 720) Anamorphic: OFF Field dominance: None Editing timebase: 24 QuickTime Video Settings: DVCPRO HD 720p60 Hope this helps,
