FCP get Real!
I'm looking to make Real media movies for web upload. Unfortunately, the Real Plugin for FCP doesn't work with Tiger. Any suggestions? I don't wanna buy the Pro version.
I see they have a Real Producer for Windows/Linux. The Linux version wouldn't work with a MBPro 2.33 ghz would it? elmer |

can't you do it in compressor? you do your editing on fcp, get a movie from that and then make it a .real video (don't know the extension) in the compressor. should work i think.

Why use Real? Real is sort of a lost format at this point and the quality is frequently no better then Flash.
If you are looking for Windows compatibillity, make a .wmv file. Flip4Mac is the program to look into. If you are looking into universal compatibility, learn how to use Flash. That's how YouTube does it.

I agree about Real, but it's one of two formats acceptable on Triggerstreet and many outside the US use it to view films there.
