HD Format for Capture - Journaled or Unjournaled?

When I reformat my capture HD, should I format Mac OS Extended (Journaled) or Unjournaled? What is the difference?

Thanks in advance
Grant

For capturing yu want jounalling tuned OFF. IT basically is only good on your system drive it does something about helping you recover quickly after a crash, but it doesn't do anythnig but slow you down on your capture drive.

Here's an article with some more info. http://www.larryjordan.biz/articles/lj_firewire.html
