final cut pro on a macbook
anyone running this, does it work?

It works.
It is Motion that will give you issues...graphics card reasons. But FCP works just fine. As long as it is FCP 5.1. |

It works just fine.
However, I have had hangups - typically if I'm doing a presentation and I've booted other apps like Keynote first and then load FCP after them. Just be careful to either shut down other apps and boot into FCP prior to loading other stuff up. or just (even better) run FCP solo. Just typical "critical app loads first" stuff. |

FCP on Macbook
And whatever you do, make sure that Macbook is loaded to capacity with memory. I can even run FCP 5.1 on my powerbook G4, but memory is the key.
