Final Cut Pro 6 and SONY DR60?
Has anyone seen any info on FCP and M2T files? Will we finally be able to edit directly without having to transcode first?
I am asking this because I am very interested in the new SONY HVR-DR60 Hard Disk Recording Unit. I would love to be able to use this and be able to edit the files directly without having to spend time converting the files first.

No info on FCP 6. Never any info before it is released. Apple is very tight lipped.

I think Final Cut 6 will not resolve this issue.
The problem is that the m2v is not yet developed for quicktime, I'm in the same situation having a Citydisk HDV and the support is working on the quicktime codec since december 2006....
