No mpeg-2 in FCP5.1.2? (and other questions)
I just upgraded to FCP5.1.2 to use on my 2.33ghz MacBook Pro.
I looked to export a sequence for making a dvd but I didn't see an mpeg-2 option. I have QT Pro. Is it no longer an option in FCP? Which is not so terrible, since I suppose I could export an FCP movie and use Compressor. I think I should choose "90-Min Best Quality" and then "All" to get audio. Correcto? And isn't there a free plugin for FCP to export sequences as Real movies? best, elmer |

Yup, you are stuck with Compressor
And yup, you could certainly choose that option; tho choosing the option to encode audio as AC-3 (sorry, not in from of the Mac right now so don't know how it shows up) gives you more "room" for video encoding Can't help you with the plug in question, sorry |
