HDV Sync Issue with FCP

So I imported footage into HDV 1080i FCP sequence and I'm having audio sync problems.

When I import the footage into a sequence by transcoding to AIC, I have no sync problems. Is this because my computer can't handle HDV native?

I'm in a duocore G5 2.0ghz with 1.0 gigs of RAM. Maybe with another gig of RAM? Maybe not?

I just discovered I only have 512 MB of RAM, which is most certainly the problem, right?

Right?

Don't laugh at my RAM.

Oh Yes!! Your Ram is a Sham.

You need at least 2.5GB for all round stability in FCP/HDV. Although someone may pipe in and says that's too low.

Get it ordered you'll thank us in the end.
