wave effect
Im trying to achieve a particular effect for a new film:
The effected image is screened over a background and appears to be "waving"....as if the image is projected on a piece of fabric that is blowing in the wind. You can see this effect in one of my earlier films. It is the very last shot in this 3 minute film: http://rccm.org/wmc/rain/ We did it the manual way. I'm wondering if there is a good plugin that will do this convincingly. thanks Steven |

Hi Steven, a plugin for which editing application exactly? So that I can move this to the appropriate NLE forum.

Nice work, I enjoyed your three minute video. I'm not sure this will give you what your looking for but they do offer several plug-ins that might enable you to create that effect. http://www.cgm-online.com Good luck |

If you have Motion you can do the effect there using the clouds generator as a displacement map. Here's a tutorial http://digitalproducer.digitalmedian...e.jsp?id=57699
