Why does QT show video at different Gamma?
I didn't use to be this way. Something changed late last year. Normally, the QuickTime player shows my exported video the same as when I edit in FCP. Now QT shows it differently.
I gave up on the problem when recently I noticed that iDVD shows the video the same as FCP. Here's the same video side by side in QT and iDVD. http://farm1.static.flickr.com/164/3...156cd3.jpg?v=0 Aoother thing, if I go into properties in the QT player and change the Transparency setting on the video track to Composition, the QT player displays get darker...more like FCP and iDVD. Any ideas? TIA |

It may explain quite a bit. Changing the gamma to "Approximate" lightened my canvas so it is the same as the QT player. Thanks
