30F Sequence Preset?? (FCP)
Hey everyone, I'm having a real tough time setting up a sequence preset that matches my Canon A1's 1080F30 setting- how are you guys setting up sequences for editing in FCP using 30F mode on the newer Canon's?
(There's presets for 1080i (60) and 1080F24 but nothing for 30f????) |

Steve,
Attached is a section from the Kona LHe manual that walks you through creating your own custom Easy Setups. See if it helps.

Dave, thanks so much......actually I JUST figured out how to get it done ( I think.)
I used a 24F preset and changed the editing timebase to 30 frames per second and saved it as a new preset. There was an option for 29.97 fps- do you think that is the correct implementation for Canon's 30F mode or 29.97? I assumed 30 as it's supposed to be a truly progressive frame from an interlaced chip- was I right in assuming the HDV 30F spec is a true full 30 FPS or is it 29.97? |
