Out of sync capture
Maybe this belongs in another thread?
I've been trying to capture to an iBook, just to see how things work. I have FCP 5.1.2, and used the HDV1080p24 setup, which I understand is what you're supposed to use for stuff shot in 24f. It captures just fine, but it's out of sync. Anybody have any ideas? |

I went into the office today and captured to the G5 and all is well. I guess the moral of the story is nope, I can't capture HDV on my iBook (although it falls within the specs). Unless there's some funky setting I missed.

However...today I took the out-of-sync project and capture files from the iBook, moved it over to the G5, and guess what: It's in sync.
I thought it wouldn't be because earlier I had exported a QT and it was out of sync too when I played it on the G5. But if I capture in FCP on the iBook and move the files to the G5, all is well over there. |
