Two quick questions...
I have a video clip that is in wmv format, is there an easy way to insert in FCP, for some reason I can't get FCP to recognize the file type.
Second question, Is there an easy way to pull footage off a dvd and inserting it into FCP? |

You'll need flip4mac to read the wmv video. To export to wmv you'll need to buy one of the packages, only to read the files, you'll just need the free version.
As for rip'ing DVDs that is mostly illegal, so you'll need to be more specific to get an answer. Gunleik
