Matrox MXO

Has anyone had first hand experience with the Matrox MXO? Does it justify the $1000 price tag for color correction? When coupled with 23" Apple displays? What is my best option to dial in Color w/ a FCP system and HDV?

Thanks,
Jay

I was just reading about that and it looks like a really interesting product:

Would also be interested in first-hand experiences.

I looked at it....
Someone who had one mentioned on another forum that the MXO was prone to overheating and it would quit working. If Matrox support is still like it was when I had a DigiSuite I would look for another solution.
