Converting PC captured HDV to Mac/FCP with ffmpegX
I think I found a way to use all of my captured files (captured on a PC in PP2) on a mac in FCP. But I'm having a hard time with some of the settings. Does anyone have a solid conversion setup for ffmpegX that will work ok in FCP? I'd like to convert everything as high quality as possible to help version degradation.
Also, does anyone know how to batch process with ffmpegx? Thanks guys |

I've never really had the ffmpeg thing do what it promises.
MPEG streamclip, though. A real gem. And I think it's Mac/PC, too. Gunleik

MPEG Streamclip is nice but you have to purchase the mpeg-2 playback software from Apple. $20. Not too big of a deal but the software is close to useless without it.
